Hey you. Thanks for swinging by.
NOTE - This blog used to be called The Gbox but I decided to change it to what it is today; The Artful Desperado. So much better, yeah? The Gbox sounded like the broken-condom-offspring of an Xbox and a G-String. Not cool.
My name is Gabriel and I am the colorful mind that came up with this blog. I am a Community Specialist by day and a voracious internet hunter by night. Apart from here, you can find some of my random musings on LAND - a multidisciplinary culture and music magazine and on CARGOH - a social market place for independent artists.
ABOUT THE BLOG
I started this blog just to share a few of my life happenings – which actually turn out to be pretty useless stuff – then the blog started evolving into this; a place where creative people can hang out and give each other love (in body and soul), a place where your creative work can say HELLO to the world for the 1st time (or for the 14000th time).
My blog (back then The Gbox) used to have various cozy sections, all of them dynamic – and full of shit. In an effort to adopt more Japanese customs in my life (other than eating sushi), I redesigned the blog and moved towards a “cleaner” look – which is what you’re looking at right now. It oozes Zen, doesn’t it? At last – no more cluttered categories! If you need something, just look for it with the search widget. Easy!
Oh and not that you care, but just so you know I didn’t get rid of my “My Life” posts (early personal ramblings about urinals, cheap beer and cupcakes) so if you happen to see one you are more than entitled to say ‘shit, this makes no sense’.
The Artful Desperado – a new shade of awesome.
A few disclaimers before you proceed:
1: I am ESL, so a lot of the stuff I say may sound weird.
2: I make grammar/spelling mistakes – they are cute, ok?
3: I curse a lot. I curse in real life, so why not in here?
4: I dislike arrogance and Reggaeton – if you embrace any of these two; then press ‘Close Window’ and leave. If you embrace BOTH – then you are the antichrist. No cure for you.
Remember though, above all – I really thank you for being here.
